Linda's career began in the film industry working as a stylist on still shoots, commercials and feature films. She then became a freelance commercial producer and happily worked until marriage and a child changed her life. Standing around for endless hours on sets suddenly didn’t seem so glamorous anymore. Looking for a new creative outlet, she took up the study of photography at UCLA.
Linda's photography achievements include winning the 2001 Grand Prize Professional Award from Tamron Industries and also winning Honorable Mention in the 2005 SanDisk International Digital Photo contest, the 2005 North Carolina Museum of Art, Focus on Photography contest, the 2006 Int'l Photography Lucie Awards as well as the 2009 Photographer's Forum contest.
Her work has been shown at the North Carolina Museum of Art as well as an exhibit at the Chrome Gallery in Los Angeles. She has recently self published a photography book, "The Days of the Dead" and is currently working on a photography project about Portuguese Bloodless Bullfighting in California, entitled “Fiesta Brava”.
Linda has worked for Angeleno Magazine, Radio Ink Magazine, the ISP Channel, and photographed celebrities such as The Manhattan Transfer, Alan Rickman, Sonia Walger and taken the cover photos for the CD's of music legend Asha Puthli, and jazz singer Sharyn Wynters.
